This guy is THE best! We hosted a Christmas party at our hair salon for ore clients. Ernie was our live performer and he absolutely blew everyone away! The Christmas set was perfect to set the mood and then the party set just topped the night off! Everyone was up dancing and singing along! Ernie is super professional and a true performer! Thank you Ernie for an excellent performance for our Christmas celebrations in Dec 2017. Everyone enjoyed the act, and whether by singing along, or dancing to the excellent programme that was put together, there was a very inclusive feel to the evening. Our special requests were also accommodated and performed which made the evening feel very personal. With the party in full swing later in the evening, Ernie even tagged on the end of a 'Conga' and continued singing his song.... what great fun!! To those who are yet to see an Ernie show..... If you're looking for an excellent, all round entertainer, singing a range of songs from different eras, I heartily recommend Ernie Alan... I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.

We had Ernie for our charity Night in aid of Anthony Nolan on Saturday 11th March 2017. From the moment I messaged Ernie to see whether he would be able to help us out, he went above and beyond. Firstly he kindly donated his service free of charge a two hour set including a party finale and drove to Coventry a distance from his own home to entertain our guests on the night. He then also kindly added in 5 new songs to his playlist to accomadate us as my grandad was a fan of Elvis. His performance on the night was absolutely amazing and he was the star of the show. He also set his playlist to every ones taste both young and old. But starting the night with an old favorite of my grandads little ole wine drinker and ending it on a song which was very close to our families heart the wonder of you. Such an amazing man couldn't thank him enough for all his help went above And beyond for us. Highly recommend he helped with raising are total of £2300 for Anthony Nolan. We are looking at holding this event again next year and Ernie is deffo at the top of our list to headline again as a lot of the people that attended the night commented about his amazing performance. Thanks once again Ernie xx

What a thrill it was to be part of the ‘Refreshingly Authentic’ experience of a live performance that captured the sound and mannerisms of two of the most entertaining musical legends the world has ever seen (or heard)! Ernie Alan brought to life the music and atmosphere of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin perfectly, in his accurate portrayal of each unique character. What a fabulous way to personally experience what our guests and ourselves all agreed to be the closest thing we’ve heard to the ‘Rat Pack’. Choosing Ernie, we were confident of a great evening and he did not disappoint. We were delighted with some lovely ‘cool’ numbers from Dean Martin and then surprised by a couple of Sammy Davis hits too! Then came the Sinatra that lit the evening, ending with a perfect ‘New York, New York’ A definitive 100% recommendation from us and we’re already looking forward to our next encounter!

I had no hesitation in booking Ernie after reading the reviews, watching the videos and listening to him sing. Ernie created a lovely relaxed atmosphere where we could all enjoy ourselves whilst listening to his wonderful voice. He sang a lovely first set which was perfect while we had our meal and then he returned to finish the evening with some great songs that has us all singing, dancing and having a lovely time. He was, of course, encored and surprised us all with some superb party numbers that even the youngsters enjoyed! All the classics perfectly delivered (Everybody loves somebody sometimes - outstanding). For Sinatra & Martin, Ernie is your man. The style, the mannerisms and, most importantly, the sound! My brother and I spent 2 days looking for the right singer for mum and dads anniversary and we both said yes the first time we heard Ernie, so I rang and had booked him within 5 minutes! Ernie really made the evening and was so polite and easy to get on with. He made everyone feel comfortable and created a lovely relaxed atmosphere that we could all enjoy throughout the night. As a family of big Sinatra and Jazz/Pop fans, we all agree Ernie is one of the best we've seen and heard. His voice is really suited to it and has that undertone to make it very enjoyable indeed. His Dean Martin songs are up there too (Everybody Loves Somebody - fantastic)! Favourites of the evening were Come Fly With Me, Lady is a Tramp, Leroy Brown and That's Life! We first stumbled across the talented Ernie Alan last November and it was an absolute pleasure to invite him back to sing at a special birthday / anniversary party this weekend. Ernie is the 'Muhammad Ali' of Swing Singers. The untouchable King of the Swing Ring with a knockout performance! He did a superb job for our anniversary, with every one of our guests having a very enjoyable and memorable evening. No hesitation in recommending at all.

Ernie entertained us yesterday at our presentation evening and gave us a wonderful evening of refined pleasure, in equally wonderful surroundings. A lovely relaxed meal time presentation of subtle Sinatra classics, with a hint of Matt Monro to start with. Waiting until everyone had finished and their lunches settled, Ernie then turned up the heat to reward us all with some fantastic dance numbers. It was with great pleasure that I found myself listening to the "Rich Tones" of Ernie at my brothers 40th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday and I feel compelled to report back on my experience. To say he has the best voice I have heard would be a bold (under)statement. I Have, in my (many) years, heard a multitude of styles from countless bands and singers from the length and breadth of the country and beyond, so I can say with educated experience that I regard Ernie Allan as one of the best around that you will hear today. His Diction is clear and precise, his Timing perfect, his Tone faultless and his character is remarkable . Ernie's interpretation and deliverance is uncannily similar and sympathetic to those he aims to recreate. There are so many (as Jeffery Willoughby rightly said) who claim to be the best in the business or the UK's Number 1, who clearly haven't taken the time to listen to anyone but themselves. Ernie hasn't made these claims. He doesn't need to. The audience and people are the only ones who can rightly make those claims and it seems that those who have been privileged to hear Ernie agree that he is unrivalled in his genre. Hi Ernie, Sorry for the late review (Honeymoon)! Ernie was perfect for my wedding and I am so glad we chose him as I could not imagine my day without him now. After we read ALL the reviews and listened to all the songs, a quick phonecall to speak to Ernie had us 100% satisfied that we had found our singer. Ernie did not disappoint at all and wowed our guests and ourselves on the night, singing our songs perfectly. What I also liked was that Ernie didn't fill the time with jokes or stories and he didn't pick on anyone or make them feel uncomfortable in any way, he just sang perfectly. He was very polite and approachable and even danced amongst us whilst singing! Everyone had a great time and I'm certain we'll be seeing Ernie again sometime. Absolutely incredible voice and an amazing performer. Especially liked the rendition of Mack the Knife and That's Life. One of those voices that you could listen to forever. Fantastic mix of songs from slow love songs to the upbeat dance and then a few others like Sweet Caroline and even a rock song that someone asked for. I hired Ernie for my house warming party on Saturday to entertain my guests in the evening. I picked a few of the songs and left the rest for Ernie to decide. I booked Ernie for my house party on Friday night. It was pretty short notice too but he was fine with it. I told him what I wanted and he told me how much and I was really happy with that (very surprised). I had listened to all the demo songs and read all the previous reviews and was more than happy with what we agreed. I told Ernie what songs I would like and asked if he could be set up ready for when my guests started to arrive. Nothing was too much trouble and I can say with 100% honesty that Ernie is one of the most polite and helpful people I have ever met. He isn't arrogant or big headed in the slightest and is very comfortable amongst a rowdy crowd like mine (mind you at 6 foot 4 and built like Ernie,you would be). All of my guests were literally blown away by his singing. I'd obviously heard him before and so kind of knew what he was capable of, but I think everyone else was shocked by it. Every single person commented on how good Ernie and his voice was and I tell you now he made that night. I cannot recommend Ernie enough and I will definitely be booking him again for another party later in the year. 10/10

We booked Ernie Alan for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Since the party on Saturday my parents have received several phone calls from family and friends to say how much they enjoyed themselves and all were commending Ernie and his choice of songs. I, personally found Ernie very approachable and did everything that was asked of him, even doing a duet with one of the guests which was totally out of the blue and without any rehearsal! I would book Ernie again without hesitation and recommend him to anyone who likes swing music and a really nice bloke to sing it for you.

Ernie was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end and was very flexible in terms of timings; even on the night itself. We booked him for a Masonic ladies weekend and there was much toe tapping by the oldies and singing along from the younger members of the group. Would thoroughly recommend!

I organised a surprise 50th wedding anniversary for my wife and invited our family and close friends. I booked Ernie without hesitation after speaking with him a few weeks before and now could not imagine the night without him there. I had asked for him to 'blend in' because I didn't want anyone to know I had booked a singer, as that was another surprise for everyone. I asked Ernie if he could act as a 'Polite Drunk' from another party (he couldn't pass as family or friends as we are all very close). It was absolutely hilarious and everyone (including myself at one point) all honestly believed that he had just wandered in after a whiskey or two. He then proceeded to wobble to the microphone and made a comical slurry speech, thanking everybody for allowing him to stay and congratulating my wife and I on our Anniversary. He said as a thank you, he would sing us a song (at which point everybody laughed). The music started and the laughing stopped and turned to raucous applause (and even tears from my wife). Of course, he 'sobered up' immediately and gave us a night that we will never forget from a first class performance (both acting and singing) and a first class gent. Very highly recommended 10/10.

Ernie sang for us at our 40th Wedding Anniversary party at the Metropole Hotel and was everything we wanted and more. From arriving and introducing himself to us, through his performances and to him leaving at the end of the night, Ernie was a gent and entertainment professional. Impeccable timing and with a voice perfect for his chosen genre. My wife, myself and our guests could not have had a more perfect night and we would all recommend Ernie for your party, without hesitating.

We booked Ernie to sing at our engagement party on Saturday and were completely blown away by his voice. Everyone sat in silence at his rendition of 'All the way' then erupted in applause and cheering as he hit that note and held it perfectly. He just captivated the whole room . After making our night such a special one, we are hoping to see Ernie again at our wedding (hopefully in 2017). Recommended ;)

Ernie Saw our new year in with style! He sang for over 2 hours overall and kept everybody entertained from 7pm right through to 1am with a good mix of songs and party music. I invited a mixed bag of characters and age groups and Ernie played and sang for them all. Unfortunately, Ernie Alan will not be available for New Years Eve 2015... Because I've already booked him! A True gentleman and an amazing singer.

We invited Ernie to sing at a black tie dinner for out '14 Christmas Party and he really made the evening special! Leading up to the event Ernie kept in contact as required, as was able to be totally flexible with the timings of his sets. Ernie picked tracks that were appropriate to the time of the evening (dinner and after dinner) and even supported us with an extra set at the end of the evening. I couldn't recommend more highly and you won't be disappointed if you book him.

Ernie was brilliant!!! We had an in store event which took place on a Friday day / evening and he entertained approx 50 people, the performance he gave bought the venue to life and kept everyone happy , it created a lovely atmosphere and our customers loved it. WOW! I am a huge fan of Ratpack and Swing and I have NEVER heard anyone like Ernie before. His voice and tone are incredible and just perfect for this genre. A superb rendition of each song, true to the original style. I have no doubt that, had Ernie been born on the 12/12/15, we would all be hiring tributes to Ernie Alan. Ernie sang at my wedding reception. He saved the day as the DJ turned up over an hour late so he did a small set for me before he sang my first dance. To be honest I wish I had kept him and not the DJ. He made our evening the most special night imaginable. Without Ernie Alan our night would have been ruined. He has a fantastic voice and the song choice was not his normal swing music however he was pitch perfect on every song. You are a life saver. It would not have been the same with out you. Caught this guy playing a gig at the Hilton in Cardiff whilst I was in the bar. It wasn't my party but I invited myself in for a listen (it has been a while since I heard a guy like this play a gig like that). He possesses a unique rich tone with a color, depth and brightness that is unheard of in modern musicians. He vocalizes with a purposeful and dedicated diction, timbre and timing that no other artiste seems to deliver today. His voice and style captures the essence of what the best names in music gifted to us to be remembered forever. Truly unique in sound and with the right direction/management will realize the full potential of his capabilities. Break a leg!

Wonderful night of some timeless classics. Erny isn't an impersonator and doesn't try to add his own twist to any of the songs which is exactly what we wanted for our party. We wanted someone who could sing the songs just like they were originally, to recreate the sound and atmosphere of the olden days. The way he sings the words is just like they used to! absolutely incredible and quite emotional at times (for my parents) as it brought back plenty of memories for them. Sent an enquiry and had everything booked within a few hours. He turned up nice and early on the day and worked away quietly getting it all set up without any bother. A lot of kit for a solo singer and he puts the effort in to make it look and sound really good. He has a really nice voice very well suited to this genre and delivered each song perfectly. Having read the other reviews I can agree with everyone else and say that he has a much better voice than anyone else we've seen live and his price is very very reasonable if not too cheap. It did make us think when we saw how little it would cost but we trusted everyone's opinions and reviews and we're glad we did. 10 times as good for less than half the price of other singers. the very best of luck with your career and we would like to see you again at Christmas. Thank you Ernie for a brilliant night! :) I had been looking forward with excitement to my birthday since planning it almost a year ago & Ernie certainly made it very special. Ernie gave a stunning performance & was dressed well to match. He set & held the stage perfectly. Arriving in plenty of time to get everything set up, Ernie opened the evening with some wonderful Dean Martin & Nat King Cole (my request), allowing everyone to mingle & enjoy the atmosphere. After the buffet, Ernie returned to give us some fantastic Sinatra, giving us all a chance to dance & get into the party mood. He then carried on to WOW everyone with some party songs & kept us dancing with the disco set straight afterwards. None-stop enjoyment and entertainment! I can say in all honesty that If you're looking to hire a singer then browse around. Wow!! We had a wonderful night celebrating my dad's 80th birthday which was made more special by asking Ernie to sing. The range of songs were too many to mention and Ernie accommodated our requests every step of the way. Ernie kept in contact with us regularly leading up to the event and arrived at the venue exactly at the time he had stated.

He has a fantastic voice and every song that we asked for was performed! He really engaged the audience all night and nothing was too much trouble.

Overall the night was a huge success which would not have been so enjoyable if Ernie had not been with us.

I booked Ernie for my 40th Birthday party on Saturday and I'm so pleased I did. I chose a 'Gangsters & Molls' theme for my party and thought Ernie's music would really go with my idea. Ernie really looked the part in a black suit with white shirt and red braces - he looked like Al Capone! The costumes and the music went really well together and the whole place looked and sounded like a film set! Ernie did a fantastic job in choosing the songs and kept the dance floor full after the buffet, with everyone having a fun night. My dad has been a lifelong huge Sinatra fan, so Ernie was a must for his birthday. Arriving early and politely introducing himself to my father, Ernie proceeded to quietly prepare everything for the evening. Ernie then got changed into a smart and sympathetically synonymous outfit which complemented the style of music and atmosphere perfectly. The voice, the mannerisms and deliverance were superb and absolutely perfect (he says he doesn't try and impersonate Sinatra but I think he's more like him than he realises). My father was absolutely delighted and also quite moved by Ernie's performance and to quote my dad it was 'the best birthday he'd ever had in his life' which also made me quite emotional too (sorry Ernie). Not one single guest left without shaking his hand and thanking him for a wonderful night. Ernie entertained our guests on Friday for our 40th wedding anniversary and was fantastic. Very smartly dressed, he was extremely polite and accommodating throughout. I told him what I wanted on his arrival (nice and early too) and left him to it. Ernie transformed that room into a glowing display of light and sound, with a perfect choice of background music. After our guests had arrived and chatted for a while, Ernie hit them with the first set... Absolutely phenomenal voice that stopped everyone in their tracks. His rendition of our requested 'Portrait of my Love' had everyone on their feet clapping and cheering as he hit and held that note perfectly (quite an emotional moment). After our meal, Ernie served us some gentle classics, building them to a big swinging finale. As he ended the set with the ever popular 'New York', he left the stage to cheers and chants of 'We Want More, We Want More', turning around to give the crowd a cheeky wink and a smile as he left the room. As the party music played, the disco lights flashed and we all danced, Ernie promptly returned after a quick change to drive everyone hysterical with some belting party numbers. Absolutely incredible singer and entertainer with an unbelievably versatile and powerful voice that truly shocked some people. You simply have to see this man to believe it. First Class entertainer, smartly dressed, extremely polite and a great voice. Perfect for a lovely, refined evening of entertainment with style. He was dressed really smartly and gave a refreshingly authentic rendition of some great songs. Then, our buffet was late being served so Ernie carried on for another 15 minutes or so until the food was ready. He didn't make a fuss about it, he just subtly added a few songs whilst he was still singing and covered it perfectly. He then ended up staying even longer when my guests kept shouting for more. To put it simply, Ernie is outstanding in every field and I can truly say that I have never, in all my years, met anyone like him. For starters, his nature and character are that of a gentleman. He has the stature and presence of a Godfather, the patience of a saint, and the voice of a real professional. Quite a lot of people have mentioned the tone in his voice and it really is unique and a gem of a sound. Nothing was too much trouble for him both before and on the night and he even directed our guests from the entrance to the room and helped the elderly relatives along the stairs. My wife and I host various parties at our house throughout the year, hiring various acts and entertainers depending on the events theme and requirements. The Rat Pack era and swing genre are a favourite of mine and throughout the years, I have hired dozens of bands and singers. Many of those made claims of being 'The Best Sinatra in the Business, with one even being 'The Voice of Sinatra'. The guy I hired today made none of these claims. He says that he doesn't try and impersonate anyone and just does what he does and boy does he! He trounced absolutely everyone I had heard before. There's a tone in his voice that is an absolute gem to listen to and one that is as unique as Sinatra's himself. That man is Ernie Alan. The guy has no fear either! I'd said to him before he went on that it's OK to be nervous (as he was centre stage at the dinner party) and he just smiled and laughed! I didn't take it as arrogance, or ignorance. I took that as confidence in himself and his ability to perform. Ernie Alan will not disappoint you in any way. He has, by far, the best voice I have hired and heard so far and is unshakable both on stage and off. Needless to say, Ernie will be gracing our guests with his presence again very soon.

I must say that I had listened to the songs on here and, although they were very good, I think quality of the recording lets them down a little as the 'live' Ernie is something else altogether. Just before Christmas Ernie entertained us all at my mum's 80th Birthday Party and what a fantastic afternoon it was. Ernie is a true gentleman and a superb singer, nothing was too much trouble for him and he entertained all ages. I was sceptical about hiring him as he wasn't recommended to me but I would have no hesitation in using him again and recommending him as we all thoroughly enjoyed the party and he made my mum's day! I booked Ernie to sing at my partner Louise's surprise 50th birthday party was very pleased with the whole experience. Ernie's performance was top notch and he not only looked the part but also sounded it too. He certainly caught the mood of the evening and added so much to the occasion. Purely and simply outstanding. Every song was sung pitch perfect and enunciated perfectly too. A good mixture of well known favorites, some nice slow dancing and some good old swing to finish, with everyone up dancing and begging for more... which Ernie delivered and then some. We chose Ernie after reading other reviews and hearing the sample songs on here, although having read other comments, we were a little skeptical as it did seem a little too cheap. Ernie was very polite and helpful on the phone and we booked without any problems at all. He let us know he had set off on the day and arrived in plenty of time to set up. He had a lot more equipment than I was expecting and it looked well. We had 3 sets altogether with the first set just before the buffet. Ernie sang some nice low key numbers whilst everybody mingled and chatted. The second set cam after the buffet and he picked some good sing along tracks and well known ones that got people in the mood. He then finished with a final selection of big numbers and good dance songs to finish a perfect night. I will say that the samples do not do justice as it is an excellent live experience. You could listen to his voice all night. Never faltered once. 10/10 for everything.

It was great to see Ernie perform at my wedding. He spent most of the day traveling down to the venue but was still in great spirits when he arrived, with a smile and a laugh. He disappeared to set everything up while we went to the bar and when we went back to the room, it looked completely different. He worked alongside the DJ all night and made a really great night even more special. He sang all the songs I'd chosen, as well as a few new ones he said he'd learn. His version of New York is the best I've heard and he really gives it his all at the end of his show with everyone up dancing. I can't say enough about this man and can definitely recommend him.

This is the fourth time I have seen Ernie Live and I can say hand on heart that he has earned the title of the undisputed Biggest Thing in Swing (mind you at 6 foot 4, not many would argue)! In all honesty he has a voice that you simply have to hear to believe. You really would not think that such a sound could come from such a fella. He looks like he belongs on the doors of a nightclub but sounds like he belongs on a stage in Chicago. Having met him a few times now thought, I can say that he is a true gentleman. Always so polite and pleasant. It amazes me each time I see Ernie how smooth, deep and rich the tone is. It's either a blessing or he's worked damn hard to get it. Whatever it is, he has it and I hope he continues to do what he does best! Grand job tonight Ernie, see you again soon lad.

Ernie stepped in to entertain the guests at my 60th birthday/retirement bash when the singer we had originally booked lost his voice. We had a fantastic party and Ernie "made the day". He is a first class singer/entertainer and a thorough professional and a very nice guy.It was a very hot day and Ernie was nearly melting but carried on regardless. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or book him again. Everyone said how much they enjoyed his act.

I found Ernie after searching for a Swing Singer to come and sing at my house party in Northampton. After looking at several others in the London and area (charging £450+) I contacted Ernie through here. He replied in a few hours and then rang me and asked what I was wanting for my party. I had no hesitation in booking him after reading the reviews and speaking to him. It was all so simple and stress free. When he arrived he got everything set up and then even got changed for his singing bit. It was perfect from start to finish and my friends were very very impressed. They all thought I'd spent hundreds booking Ernie lol. Having Ernie to entertain us was an all round great experience. I always felt I could trust him to deliver a 5 star performance, right from the word go. There isn't a Swing Singer out there like him. When you see him, you'll know immediately why he's the biggest thing in swing. Definitely definitely definitely will hire again.

Ernie played at the Club at one of our special nights. His voice is first class and the audience thought his performance excellent, few get to play the Club twice, Ernie will most certainly play for us again next year. Thank you Ernie for making our special night, special.

We Booked Ernie for the Pensioner's Annual Dinner. His swinging renditions of the popular songs made famous by the 'Ratpack' were excellent. The Members thoroughly enjoyed their evening. Many of them finished up dancing to New York, New York, which was his finale, plus encores.

I booked Ernie to sing at out house for my husbands surprise birthday party on Friday. We all had a fabulous night, thanks to Ernie. He kept in touch right from the start. He arrived early enough to get everything ready for when Mike came home. This is no part timer, I can assure you. He has a full setup that turned our living room into a scene straight from Vegas! I especially liked the sparkly backdrop. He has a wonderful voice that is more suited to Swing than anyone else I've heard. We will definitely book Ernie again and I recommend him without hesitation. Had a great evening thanks to Ernie. Sent him a list of songs to include and he did all of them. A lovely deep rich powerful voice that you can listen to all night. A nice easy first half while we ate and chatted then a good old knees up for the next bit. Very well planned and presented and very very good value. Rated and recommended!

I found Ernie on here after searching for Swing Singers for my dad's birthday party. Ernie was the 3rd one I read and was the 1st one I called. After listening to the songs and reading the reviews I sent an email with what I wanted. He called me back within an hour and after speaking to him I was confident of a professional.and enjoyable service. On the night he got here very early and set his equipment up without any fuss. My favourite bits were the glowing poles lol. Ernie sang me 2 45 minute sets and picked the songs perfectly. The first ones were nice and subtle while our guests mingled then he sang the more upbeat ones when we wanted to dance. He worked closely with the Disco we had also booked to make sure the evening ran smoothly. Very good value for money and highly recommended from me. I would work with him again in the future.

Ernie literally saved the day at literally the last minute! Having had to change our plans and with less than 12 hours notice, Ernie stepped up to the challenge. I was amazed at how prepared he was when he arrived at our house and how efficiently he worked to get everything set up. It's a well oiled machine lol. His performance was just as everyone else has described - unbelievable. It seems to be a well quoted saying with Ernie but you really do not expect a voice like that from him. The only thing you will regret is not booking him x

Saw Ernie on Saturday, absolutely amazing! You simply have to hear his voice to believe it. The sound samples on here just do not deliver the quality of his voice. He remained completely unphased by a bit of a disruption to the events timings and acted quickly and seamlessly to ensure that nobody even noticed what was happening. Ernie's professionalism, manners and voice are unrivaled by anyone I've ever met and that is a very rare honour in today's society. I'm extremely pleased and grateful to have met and heard Ernie and I shall endeavour to see him on many occasions yet.

He is such a great singer that a large number of the people at my birthday party commented on it both on the night and in phone calls the day after. He has a wide repertoire of songs and was extremely professional in his arrangement for this performance including letting me know that he was on his way. I'm hoping to book him for my next party.

We booked Ernie to Sing for my dads Birthday last week. Right from the start, Ernie was very polite and friendly. He had everything organised and set up for a superb birthday party and the lights and backdrop made it look and sound perfect. Then came the voice.... absolutely unbelievable. I honestly did not expect that at all. My husband and I had listened to the examples on the website and they sounded good. To hear him sing live is something else altogether. After seeing Ernie at the Hilton in Birmingham in March, I found him on the internet and booked him through this site for my Wedding, as he said he could do it for less than £200. He turned up early in the afternoon and had everything set up before everyone arrived, so he was ready and playing music when they walked in. He sang our first dance which was All The Way by Frank Sinatra. Everyone was initially speechless when he started to sing. That soon changed as they joined in with almost every song he sang! This guy has a really unique voice perfectly suited to this type of music. He sounded, acted and looked like a gentleman and a star. We were not going to even have a singer at our wedding (due to budget reasons) but after seeing and hearing Ernie, and being told how much he would charge, we actually could afford it. The next best quote we had was for over £600 and promise you, Ernie is a hundred times better and for less than half the price! We couldn't use his smoke machine as the venue said no, but he was still able to use the lights and star curtain, which looked great on the stage and dancefloor. Ladies and Gentlemen, I recommend to you this (unbelievable) Swing Singer Ernie Alan.

Ernie sang for us at our wedding anniversary on Saturday. I'd already heard of him through my sister from when she booked him to sing for our dads birthday last year and liked him then. I booked him through this site and he called me back the next day. He's a really nice lad and set everything up really nice. We had the top package for £225 which I thought was very good value because he had to travel quite a bit to get here but it was still a lot less than all the others I had looked at. He also let me know when he set off and when he arrived at the hotel which I thought was nice. He really is an incredible singer and has an awesome voice and personality. We have already booked again for my husbands birthday next year. 10/10

Ernie very kndly offered his time and talent to entertain at a residential home to help promote National Nutrition and hydration week. He gave a full programme that was enjoyed by the residents, staff and volunteers alike. Thank you Ernie you are very personable and a good entertainer, all communication with you has meant the event was well orgranised and seamless. We booked Ernie to sing at our party for my dad's birthday yesterday. He sang for two half hours and kept us dancing and singing all night. If I'm honest, for what he charged I wasn't expecting much but we were on a bit of a limited budget. How wrong I was! He was simply fantastic! I cannot recommend Ernie enough. Hired Ernie to sing for our 25th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday. We hired out the ballroom for our party and had invited over 150 guests. Every single one of them commented on how great the night was. Ernie had everyone dancing and at one point the entire room was singing along. He's Such a pleasant guy and has an unbelievable voice! We paid less than half what we thought we'd have too and got about ten times as much as we expected! My Family, Friends and I cannot recommend Ernie enough.

The evening was complete when Ernie Alan, the Award winning Swing Singer from Chesterfield, gave some marvelous renditions of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr. The members welcomed a change of entertainment. Finally, Ernie ended his performance with the popular ‘New York, New York’. By this time, many members were dancing. Needless to say, Ernie had to do a couple of encores... Once again, the Annual Dinner at the Foxlowe proved to be a huge success. Excellent food followed by wonderful entertainment. What more can we ask!

I don't think anybody was expecting anything like that!
